Dumpando Privacy Policy

Dumpando is a personal productivity app for organizing thoughts, tasks, time blocks, and feedback on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how Dumpando handles information.

1. Information We Collect

Dumpando does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer.

The following information entered by the user is stored locally on the user's device:

  • Text entered in Brain Dump
  • Tasks added to Today
  • Task start and end times
  • Task states, such as completed, restored, or redumped
  • Feedback and task history saved in Archive

This information is stored on the device and, if the user is signed in to iCloud, is also synced through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync the same data across the user's own devices. It is not sent to a developer-operated server.

2. Data Storage

Dumpando uses SwiftData to store data locally on the device. To let a user's Brain Dump, Today, and Archive data stay in sync across their own devices, Dumpando uses Apple's CloudKit, storing data in the user's private CloudKit database associated with their Apple ID.

This private database is accessible only to that user's own devices, signed in with the same Apple ID; the developer cannot access, read, or download this data. Dumpando does not use its own server, external databases, analytics tools, or advertising SDKs.

Depending on the user's device backup settings, app data may also be included in Apple iCloud device backups (separate from the CloudKit sync above). Such backup handling is controlled by Apple settings and Apple's privacy practices.

3. How We Use Data

Locally stored data is used only to provide app functionality, including:

  • Displaying thoughts and tasks entered by the user
  • Sorting Today tasks by scheduled time
  • Supporting task completion, restoration, and archiving
  • Preserving app data when the app is reopened
  • Syncing app data across the user's own devices signed in to the same iCloud account

Dumpando does not use user data for advertising, tracking, analytics, or marketing.

4. Third Parties and Tracking

Dumpando does not sell, share, or provide user data to third parties. Dumpando has no login or account system of its own; iCloud sync relies solely on the Apple ID the user is already signed in to on their device, managed entirely by Apple.

Dumpando does not use:

  • Advertising networks
  • Third-party analytics SDKs
  • User tracking
  • Cross-app tracking
  • Location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone permissions

5. Data Deletion

Users can delete Dump items and Archived Today items within the app; deletions are also synced through iCloud to the user's other devices. Users can also delete the app from their device to remove locally stored app data from that device.

To remove data from iCloud entirely, the user can delete all copies of the app from every device signed in to their Apple ID, or manage/delete the app's iCloud data from their device's iCloud storage settings. Data that remains in unrelated device backups is managed according to the user's Apple/iCloud backup settings.

6. Contact

If a user contacts the developer by email, the developer may receive the user's email address and the content of the inquiry in order to respond. This information is used only for support communication.

7. Children's Privacy

Dumpando does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not provide account creation, server transmission, advertising, or tracking features.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if app functionality or legal requirements change. When updated, the "Last updated" date above will be revised.

2. 데이터 저장 방식

Dumpando는 SwiftData를 사용하여 데이터를 기기 내에 저장합니다. Brain Dump, Today, Archive 데이터를 사용자 본인의 여러 기기에서 동기화하기 위해, Dumpando는 Apple의 CloudKit을 사용하여 사용자의 Apple ID에 연결된 비공개(private) CloudKit 데이터베이스에 데이터를 저장합니다.

3. 데이터 사용 목적

기기 내에 저장된 데이터는 다음 목적에만 사용됩니다.

  • 사용자가 입력한 생각과 작업을 앱 화면에 표시
  • Today 작업의 시간 순서 정렬
  • 작업 완료, 복원, 아카이브 등 앱 기능 제공
  • 앱을 다시 열었을 때 기존 데이터를 유지
  • 같은 iCloud 계정으로 로그인한 사용자 본인의 여러 기기 간 데이터 동기화

Dumpando는 사용자의 데이터를 광고, 추적, 분석, 마케팅 목적으로 사용하지 않습니다.

4. 제3자 제공 및 추적

Dumpando는 사용자의 데이터를 제3자에게 판매, 공유, 제공하지 않습니다. Dumpando는 자체 로그인·계정 시스템이 없으며, iCloud 동기화는 사용자가 기기에 이미 로그인해 둔 Apple ID를 그대로 사용하고, 이는 전적으로 Apple이 관리합니다.

Dumpando는 다음을 사용하지 않습니다.

  • 광고 네트워크
  • 제3자 분석 SDK
  • 사용자 추적
  • 앱 간 추적
  • 위치, 연락처, 사진, 카메라, 마이크 접근 권한

5. 데이터 삭제

사용자는 앱 안에서 Dump 항목 또는 Archived Today 항목을 삭제할 수 있으며, 이 삭제 내용은 iCloud를 통해 사용자의 다른 기기에도 동기화됩니다. 또한 앱을 기기에서 삭제하면 해당 기기에 저장된 로컬 데이터도 제거됩니다.

iCloud에 저장된 데이터까지 완전히 제거하려면, 같은 Apple ID로 로그인한 모든 기기에서 앱을 삭제하거나, 기기의 iCloud 저장 공간 설정에서 앱의 iCloud 데이터를 직접 관리·삭제할 수 있습니다. 이와 무관한 일반 기기 백업에 남아 있는 데이터는 사용자의 Apple/iCloud 백업 설정에 따라 관리됩니다.

6. 사용자 문의

사용자가 이메일로 문의하는 경우, 개발자는 답변을 위해 사용자의 이메일 주소와 문의 내용을 받을 수 있습니다. 이 정보는 문의 응대 목적에만 사용됩니다.
