Quitouch Privacy Policy

Quitouch is a toy app that lets you tap a character while you resist an urge, then keeps a record of how long you endured and how many times you tapped. This Privacy Policy explains how Quitouch handles information.

1. Information We Collect

Quitouch does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer.

The following information stays on the user's device:

  • The list of things you're resisting ("worries") that you create
  • Endurance records: the thing resisted, start/end time, tap count, and any reflection text you write
  • The nickname you set, used to personalize your patience certificates

All of this is entered directly by the user on the device. Quitouch does not use a camera, microphone, or location services.

2. Data Storage

Quitouch uses SwiftData to store data locally on the device. Quitouch does not use its own server, CloudKit, external databases, analytics tools, or advertising SDKs.

Depending on the user's device backup settings, app data may be included in Apple iCloud or device backups. Such backup handling is controlled by Apple's settings and privacy practices.

3. Permissions We Use

  • Photo Library: used only when you choose to save a "certificate of patience" image. Quitouch requests add-only access to save that one image and does not read your existing photo library.

4. How We Use Data

Locally stored data is used only to provide app functionality: displaying your worry list, tracking an active endurance session, keeping your record history, and generating the certificate image you choose to save.

Quitouch does not use user data for advertising, tracking, analytics, or marketing.

5. Third Parties and Tracking

Quitouch does not sell, share, or provide user data to third parties.

Quitouch does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, user tracking, cross-app tracking, user accounts, or login. Quitouch has no network access and does not communicate with any server.

6. Data Deletion

Users can delete individual worries and endurance records within the app. Users can also delete the app from their device to remove all locally stored app data. Data that remains in device backups is managed according to the user's Apple/iCloud backup settings.

7. Contact

If a user contacts the developer by email, the developer may receive the user's email address and the content of the inquiry in order to respond. This information is used only for support communication.

8. Children's Privacy

Quitouch does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not provide account creation, server transmission, advertising, or tracking features.

Quitouch は、利用者のデータを広告・トラッキング・分析・マーケティングの目的で使用しません。

5. 第三者提供とトラッキング

Quitouch は、利用者のデータを第三者に販売・共有・提供しません。

広告ネットワーク、第三者の分析 SDK、ユーザートラッキング、アプリ間トラッキング、ユーザーアカウント、ログインは使用しません。Quitouch はネットワークアクセス権限を持たず、いかなるサーバーとも通信しません。

6. データの削除

利用者はアプリ内で煩悩や我慢の記録を個別に削除できます。また、アプリを端末から削除すれば、アプリに保存されたすべてのローカルデータも削除されます。端末バックアップに残るデータは、利用者の Apple／iCloud のバックアップ設定に従って管理されます。

7. お問い合わせ

利用者がメールで問い合わせる場合、開発者は回答のために利用者のメールアドレスと問い合わせ内容を受け取ることがあります。この情報は問い合わせ対応の目的にのみ使用されます。
